For Workplace Programmes (WLN Funding)
Employees or learners must meet the following criteria:

  • Be New Zealand citizens or residents
  • Have evident literacy or numeracy skill gaps
    (Based on NZQA Record of Achievements (ROA), and as assessed by Edvance)
  • Have low or no qualifications

Community & Individual Programmes (ILN Funding)
Learners must meet the following criteria:

  • Be New Zealand citizens or residents
  • Have evident literacy or numeracy skill gaps

  • Have low or no qualifications

Community Programmes (ACE Fund)
Learners must meet the following criteria:

  • Be New Zealand citizens or residents
  • Aged 16 years or over*
  • Not a full-time secondary school learner*
*Approval/Permission can be granted in some cases

Edvance workplace training programmes are free of charge for eligible learners

  • Programmes are flexible and run for between 10 and 40 weeks
  • Group sizes of 8 or more
  • Sessions are from 2 to 4 hours, once or twice a week, at agreed times
