Edvance named finalist in the RSM East Auckland Business Awards 2026

Edvance Workplace Education is proud to be named a finalist in the Excellence in Community Impact category at the RSM East Auckland Business Awards 2026.

The Excellence in Community Impact Award, sponsored by Vitaco, recognises businesses that go beyond profit to create positive, measurable outcomes for their communities, whether social, cultural, or environmental. For Edvance, this recognition reflects more than two decades of our work supporting communities to build capability and broaden employment opportunities.

Supporting skills and opportunity in East Tāmaki
Edvance works closely with employers across the East Tāmaki region, partnering with organisations such as Cospak, Steel & Tube, F&P Healthcare, Halls Logistics, Topcoat, and Whare Tiaki Hauora.

Through tailored, workplace-based learning programmes, Edvance helps employees strengthen foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, and digital capability. These are skills that underpin long-term career progression.

According to the OECD, more than one in four adult New Zealanders experience challenges with literacy, numeracy, or digital skills. These barriers can limit participation at work and in everyday life. Edvance’s approach focuses on meeting learners where they are, delivering practical, relevant training that builds confidence alongside capability.

Founded in Tauranga in 2005, Edvance established a new office in Auckland in 2015 which later became its Head Office. Our dedicated team of 15 staff work alongside a network of highly experienced, qualified trainers who are carefully matched to each client or community group.

With a sharp focus on quality, Edvance has proudly maintained NZQA Category 1 status for over 10 years and was one of the first training providers in New Zealand to achieve the Dyslexia-Friendly Quality Mark. We continue to evolve and innovate to ensure every learner, employer, and community we serve benefits from the transformative power of learning.
