Maskell Productions Ltd – Skills for Leaders
We recently celebrated the completion of the Skills for Leaders programme with a group from Maskell Productions Ltd. Participants strengthened key workplace capabilities, from communication and collaboration to conflict resolution and team problem-solving. Growth in confidence was evident in their final presentations, and we thank Christian Erick for his practical and supportive facilitation of this programme.
Northbridge Lifecare Trust
Learners from Northbridge Lifecare Trust marked their graduation with confident and engaging presentations that showcased their communication and digital skills. It was a proud moment for everyone involved, and we’re grateful to Helen Thorn and Helle Dwyer for their commitment and collaboration throughout the programme.

Despite significant organisational change, including role restructuring during the course, this second cohort showed exceptional dedication and resilience. The programme equipped learners with practical tools for communication and problem-solving — skills that continue to support their work across departments. A sincere thank you to Tony Burnham, whose thoughtful facilitation ensured learners felt supported and inspired.
Eastern Busway Alliance – Skills for Emerging Leaders
The recent graduation of this group was a powerful reminder of the importance of investing in leadership at all levels. With strong support from managers and peers, the group completed a programme focused on preparing emerging leaders for their next steps. Thank you to Liki Mata’afa for the energy and connection you brought to this successful delivery.
OUR WORK IN THE COMMUNITY
In March, twelve learners completed our Good to Great community-based programme in Hamilton, celebrating with a well-attended graduation ceremony. As always with Good to Great, we received a lot of positive feedback from both learners and whānau. The mum of one learner, Holly, told us: “I congratulate Edvance for developing a programme that has had Holly so engaged. After all these years, Holly’s understanding of numbers has clicked. She found the key to the door that was firmly locked.” Holly is now able to calculate change in her market stall. This is the kind of change we’re proud to help create — tangible, lasting, and empowering.
