Edvance retains top NZQA rating in its 20th year of business

As we celebrate two decades of service at Edvance Workplace Education, we’re incredibly proud to share that our commitment to empowering learners and supporting workplace growth has once again been recognised at the highest level.

In our most recent External Evaluation and Review (EER), NZQA awarded Edvance its top designation: Category 1. This is a mark of excellence that indicates Edvance is a strong educational provider and a trustworthy institution.

To add to that achievement, we are pleased to report that the review made zero recommendations for improvement.
Since the EER framework was introduced, Edvance has consistently retained a Category 1 status. This year’s review further cements our place as a trusted provider in the workplace education sector, with strong outcomes (rated as EXCELLENT) across all 12 key focus areas.

The report highlights that our students are achieving meaningful gains in literacy, workplace skills, unit standards, and overall course completions. The impact of our training was described as “transformative,” with significant positive change seen not just in individuals, but also in the organisations and communities that they serve.

From classroom environments to teachers, and company values to resource investment, the report highlights the synergy between what we stand for and how we operate day to day.

Behind the scenes, our people are our greatest strength. The report noted that our team is deeply aligned with our purpose — bringing expertise and care to every interaction. Leadership at Edvance is also highly regarded, with strategic decisions informed by robust data review and a strong culture of ongoing reflection.
